  Our Libraries

The NUS Libraries comprises seven libraries, six of which are located in the Kent Ridge Campus. The C J Koh Law Library is located at the Bukit Timah Campus. Together, they support teaching and research for various departments, faculties and their graduate divisions in addition to other administrative/research/service units.

  • C J Koh Law Library
    A noteworthy collection of the primary legal resources of Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei and England. Extensive collection on public international law and international business transactions. Caters to the Faculty of Law and its Graduate Division.

  • Central Library
    A multi-disciplinary collection. Special collections include a Singapore/Malaysia Collection, NUS publications and Rare Books Collection. Caters to the Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences, School of Computing, School of Design & Environment, Faculty of Engineering and their Graduate Divisions, and the University Scholars Programme.

  • Chinese Library (including Japanese Resources department)
    Chinese books and research materials on Chinese studies as well as on the Overseas Chinese. Rare editions, handwritten or printed in the Ming and Ching dynasties. Caters to members who need to use Chinese and Japanese language resources. Also available in English version.

  • Hon Sui Sen Memorial Library
    Collections of management, business and finance books, journals, both in print and electronic media. Caters to the School of Business and its Graduate Division.

  • Medical/Science Library
    Due to redevelopment of block MD6, the Medical Library is co-locating with the Science Library. The combined collection covers a wide range of biomedical subjects, biological sciences, chemistry, mathematics, statistics & applied probability, materials science and physics. Special collections include a Medical Singapore/Malaysia Collection, Medical Databases. Caters to the Faculty of Dentistry, Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Science and their Graduate Divisions.

  • Music Library
    Collection of print and electronic materials including music scores, CD and DVD titles, that covers the western art music tradition. Caters to the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music.
