Patrons may check out, check in or renew books, journals, RBR books, on
hold items that are ready to be picked up and loan carrel
keys.
Patrons may also use the self check out service to borrow books and
bound journals.

at the Loan Desk. Just drop off your books at our Loan Desk.

RBR
Book Drop
The Self-Service Book Drop for RBR books enables you to return library
books without having to queue at the Loans Desk.

This area is to facilitate a faster turnaround of returned books to
users. Books, Bound journals and General Reading materials returned at
the loan desk are sorted and made available to users at this area as soon
as possible. If you are looking for recently returned books or when you
cannot find them on the designated shelf, remember to check this area
as well.

LINC, the NUS Library's online public
access catalogue, contains records of books, journals, theses, conference
proceedings, microforms, AV materials, and CD-ROMs available in all the
NUS Libraries. Please note the location
codes indicated in LINC.
Patrons
can also check their library records for information about their loans,
requests, fines, or renew their loans, etc. It is also
accessible through any terminal connected to NUSNET, the campus
network, or Internet.

New books added to the collection are displayed here for 2 weeks. These
may be checked out immediately. For the latest new books, please
refer to the New Books on
Display list.

This enables patrons to pay library fines using the cashcard or ezlink
card. Approach the staff at the photocopying room, on the 5th
floor, to top-up your cashcard or buy a card.

Features the Library collections, introduction to library services during
orientation and festivals celebrated in Singapore. These include specialised
subject displays.
Please approach the staff if you need:
- Assistance in the use of library services and collection, LINC,
E-Resources and CD-ROMs.
- To report loss of books and matriculation, staff or membership cards.
- To loan audiovisual and microform materials, etc.
- To book AV Group Viewing Room.
- To request for Library Online Information Search Service.
- To request for document delivery.
- To request for inter-library loans.

The networked PC and CD-ROM workstations are for accessing E-resources,
CD-ROMs on the networked and those issued by the Information Desk
respectively.

The CD-ROM workstations are for those issued by the
Information Desk only.
Login at the network printer station to print jobs
that you have sent when using any of the E-resources Workstations. This
printer is operated by a cash card. Approach the staff at the photocopy
room on the 5th floor to buy or top-up your
cashcard.

cashcards. Approach the staff at the photocopy room, on the 5th

Materials here are grouped into numbered categories. Each category
representing books on biographies, dictionaries & encyclopaedias,
numerical data, handbooks & manuals and descriptions of plants &
animals.

The collection includes publications on medical topics in the Singapore,
Malaysia, and ASEAN context. Also includes works (both medical and non-medical
contents) written by Singapore medical doctors.

These are arranged by title instead of call number. Many of these
resources are available as E-Resources.

The recent issues of journals are shelved here. Older issues are bound and
shelved on the 5th floor - Serials Room
or kept in the Closed Stacks. For closed stacks items, do a request
the items in LINC. Check the collections
times of closed stacks materials posted in the library.

view the resources kept in
the Library. Please approach the Information Desk to loan audiovisual and microform
materials request.
