LINC is the online Library INtegrated Catalogue of the NUS Library, containing records of books, journals, theses, conference proceedings, audiovisuals, microforms, diskettes and CD-ROMs acquired by Central Library, Chinese Library, Japanese Resources, C J Koh Law Library, Hon Sui Sen Memorial Library, Medical Library and Science Library.

How to search LINC for Chinese materials

For Win95/98 users
To view Chinese characters, first download and install Global IME 5.02

For Win2000/XP
Select the Encoding option from your browser's menu.  For Internet Explorer, go to 'View' --> 'Encoding' --> select the required encoding, e.g.
a) Unicode/GB/Big5/EACC for viewing Chinese characters, or
b) Unicode/Shift-JIS/EACC for viewing Japanese characters
